His Excellency The Grand Chancellor of the Sovereign Military Order of Malta, Bailiff Grand Cross of Hon our and Devotion in Obedience, received on the 13th of November the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Slovenia at the Magistral Palace with the Slovenian Ambassador to the Sovereign Order, H.E. Maja Lovrencic Svetek and the official delegation. With the Grand Chancellor was His Highness Prince Windisch-Graetz Ambassador of the Sovereign Order to Slovenia and the Minister Counsellor Professor Alberto Bochicchio, the Receiver of the Common Treasure His Excellency the Marquis Gian Luca Chiavari Bailiff Grand Cross of Honor and Devotion in Obedience, His Excellency The Ambassador Leoncini Bartoli, Grand Cross of Grace and Devotion, Diplomatic Counsellor of the Department of General Affairs, the Chief of Cabinet, Countess Isabella von Salburg-Falkenstein, Dame of Honor and Devotion, The Counsellor to the Grand Hospitalier and to the Organisations Multilateral and International Mme Marina Moll, The Chief of Protocol of the Sovereign Order. During the meeting the two ministers discussed the Order of Malta’s humanitarian programmes in the country, including the provision of essential goods for the needy and disadvantaged in the poorest regions of Slovenia, and the further development of joint cooperation in Slovenia and abroad.
The visit coincided with the 20th anniversary of the establishment of diplomatic relations between the Republic of Slovenia and the Sovereign Order of Malta in 1992.
